Radiant Heater Installation – Valvoline Instant Oil Change

Our team recently completed a radiant heater installation at the Valvoline Instant Oil Change in Sewickley, PA. The goal was to efficiently heat the service bay area with a single, high-output unit—and the Space-Ray LTU75-30’-N5 was the perfect fit.

This radiant tube heater measures nearly 17 feet long and delivers 75,000 BTUs of radiant heat, providing more than enough warmth to cover the entire bay area. Its design allows for quiet, even heating throughout the workspace—perfect for busy service environments.

To get the job done right, we used a lift to position and hang the unit safely in place. Our crew also drilled a new wall penetration for the exhaust and installed all necessary vent piping for proper airflow and safe operation. The full setup included the hanging chain kits, stainless steel flexible gas connectors, vent and combustion caps, a 24V programmable thermostat, and a fan center relay kit for precise control.

From start to finish, the entire installation was completed in just one day. The result was a clean, efficient, and powerful heating solution ready to perform through the cold months.
